I love this quote from C.S. Lewis. It’s so true, isn’t it?
The more we focus on the things of heaven; the more we begin to look like a thing of heaven.
When we keep our mind on the things above, we begin to bring the things above to earth.
As Christians, we are called to a beautiful life, effective for the Kingdom of God. As a Christ follower, life is rarely boring, but rather we know every moment of our day is an opportunity to bring bits and pieces of heaven to earth.
We know that the words we use, the way we serve others, the posts we share, the way we work, the conversations we have, and the quiet moments we spend with God matter for eternity — an opportunity to bring Him glory.
“The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.” 1 John 2:17
